Let's start at the beginning . . .
The Cabrini Neighborhood is a registered Neighborhood in Ward 3. The Council person for Ward 3 is Paul Durham. Little known factoids . . . .
Other information from the 2010 U.S. Census about us: (BTW this is for both the Cabrini and North Dodge hoods)
* Not a single one of our households makes over one hundred and fifty grand (150k) per anum.. * We average just over 2.2 people per residence. I've yet to spot one-fifth of a person around here yet apparently they're abundant. * As of the 2010 census, there are only 36 residences (both Cabrini and North Dodge combined) that are occupied by the same people prior to 1980. * In the 2010 census not a single one of us has converted over to Solar Energy to power our homes but we all do have indoor plumbing. Thank goodness we're not dotted with outhouses! :-) I'm happy to say that in 2016, we do now have some homes with solar that can be spotted around the neighborhood. Yay for us! * I don't think it'll be af any great surprise that not one single-family home is valued at over 500K.. A few did sneak into that 300K-499K range though.. Where they're hiding, I don't know. * The average cost of an apartment rental here is between $500 and $1,000. Nobody pays over $1,500. 2016 update. It looks like $1500 as a top rental price is now old news as I spotted a rental available for $1995/mo. I still wouldn't imagine there'd be too many in that range though. * There's around 300 more girls than boys around here. * Our median age is 31.5 (that's thirty-one POINT five) years (that's girls and boys) * That seems young but that's because about one-quarter of us are 19 years of age or younger. * A little over 83 percent of those of us who are adults have completed High School and/or gone on for further education. We even have 137 of us with Professional or Doctorate degrees. Applause! Applause! You may have asked yourself just WHY were the Cabrini AND North Dodge neighborhoods lumped together? That's because that's how the U.S. Census treated us. We're tract number 28.02 which extends from Country Club to Alvernon to Glenn to Ft. Lowell.
If you want or need more information regarding census statistics, please contact your neighborhood leadership. |
The answer to what page here is the most visited from the question on the Home page: Easements! Surprising huh? I think a lot of people are searching for answers to their easement questions not just here in Tucson but around the nation and they find and click on that one.
