Garbage and Recycling pick-up for the Cabrini neighborhood is Monday mornings and they're usually out there very early.
Pull your bins in please!!!
There is an ordinance that our garbage and recycling bins are only to be curbside no more than approximately 24 hours surrounding our scheduled pickup.
Please take those few seconds and pull your bins back! Not only are they unsightly, they are dangerous in windy conditions, harbor bacteria, The UGLY containers are not things we want decorating our neighborhood. and it affects the entire atmosphere. |
2020 Holiday Schedule

If your bin is in bad shape and needs replacing, call 791-3171
The city of Tucson is very happy to quickly replace damaged and broken bins! These bins can create serious health risks especially when rainwater can get into them. They can provide shelter for rodents and vermin and create health hazards for wildlife. Please take two minutes and request a new bin when and if you need one. They are free of charge! |
RECYCLING INFO
The City of Tucson's recycling program is absolutely top-notch! They make it so easy for us and each and every one of us should participate. It takes virtually no effort whatsoever!
The basic rule of thumb is if it's a rigid plastic, it's recyclable.
Paper products: Recyclable
Glass items: You betcha!
From good source I've also heard you can recycle your used paper plates just as long as they're not icky. That's fairly new to this and DES just keeps adding more things.
Still this original flyer is a quick and easy way to learn what you can and can not recycle.

Your items MUST be curbside NO LATER THAN the Monday of the scheduled week as there is no telling when they will come down your street! Don't think for a moment if you put it out AFTER they've been by they'll come back and get it -- THEY WON'T AND DON'T!!! You will be responsible for hauling it to the dump and/or fines can and will be imposed if it's not cleaned up promptly.
